Sonika Sharma was the winner of The Tiara Queen by TGPC for the month of September 2017 contest. The batch consisted of married woman aspiring for ‘Mrs.’ pageants who were groomed by India’s No. 1 Pageant coach Ritika Ramtri. Sonika is a school principal and an army wife who is currently vying for Mrs. India Earth 2017 pageant which is slated to be conducted next month. We got little candid with Sonika and had an exclusive interview with TGPC. Let us get to know Sonika Sharma a bit more in detail.

TGPC: Hi Sonika, please tell us something about yourself .

Sonika: I’m Sonika Sharma, married to an Army officer. My current put up is in Akhnoor (J&K) otherwise I’m born ,brought up, educated in Meerut. My hobbies are running, dancing, gardening. I am an MA Bed & Diploma holder of fashion designing from IIFT.

TGPC: How does it feel winning the title of ‘The Tiara Queen’ by TGPC in your very first attempt?

Sonika: Winning The Tiara Queen by TGPC was really an out of the world experience and it gave me lot of confidence about my capability and potential to win further pageants.

TGPC: What is one thing you learnt at The Tiara that you’ll never forget in life?

Sonika: The one thing I have learnt from The Tiara is that there is no substitute to be hard work, dedication and self belief.

TGPC: What do you have to say about your mentor Ritika Ramtri, who has often been slated as India’s No.1 Pageant Trainer?

Sonika: Ritika ma’am undoubtedly is the No 1 pageant trainer. She has fathom ability to turn a stone in to a diamond. The world might have seen her professional sight but I must tell everyone that she is a wonderful woman with the big heart.

TGPC: If there is one event in history that you could change, what would it be and why?

Sonika: Being an army officer wife, I personally feel that if I were given a chance to change an episode in the past, I would not permit for world war 1 or 2 to happen. I think that nobody deserves to undergo the nightmare of those fateful years, no one deserved to die and no children of the past deserved to be subjected to so much sadness and pain.

TGPC: You are a contestant of Mrs. India Earth 2017. How are your preparations going on for the same? Can you tell us more about this pageant?

Sonika: I’m sincerely busy with my preparations for Mrs India Earth. I’m lucky to have been selected as a finalist for Mrs India Earth 2017. Mrs India Earth is a brain child of Mrs Ritika Vinay Asia Pacific & Mr Vinay Yadawa. Mrs India Earth pageant is the national pride and treasure of India. It is an annual event for Indian women who embody beauty, talent, intelligence and passion.

TGPC: Do you think ‘Mrs’ Pageants get lesser importance than ‘Miss’ pageants? If yes, what would be your contribution in uplifting the condition if you win Mrs. Earth India pageant.

Sonika: Yes I agree that Miss pageant are more glamorous and gets more media coverage, if I win Mrs India Earth pageant then I would highlight the experience and achievements of the winner .With the help of this platform I would be able to take up social issues more vigorously. Mrs means more experience, with experience and more expertise Mrs pageant can take up social causes more effectively.

TGPC: How was the experience of going LIVE on TGPC FB page?

Sonika: I was totally thrilled when I went LIVE on fb page of TGPC for the chat. It gave me an instant recognition, it was really wonderful to interact with so many people and I wish to get another chance to interact with them.

TGPC: Any message for the readers of TGPC?

Sonika: I feel privileged to be connected with TGPC ,in the end I would like to say Think Good, Feel Good and Do Good . Jai hind.
