The pageant circuit is celebrating the news of Miss Polski organisation getting back the franchise rights of Miss World Poland. ;The new organisation appointed Magdalena Bieńkowska as their representative for Miss World 2017 contest. The organisation sent their last delegate in 2012, after which they lost rights. However, they were sending the delegates to Miss International and Miss Supranational.
Magdalena Bieńkowska represented Poland at Miss International 2015 where she was one of the Top 15 candidates. She was expected to compete at Miss Supranational 2017 but then got appointed for Miss World. Magdalena has been conducting various charity programs in order to serve senior citizens and people with physical disabilities. This may work in her favour at Beauty with a Purpose fast track. Poland has won Miss World only once, in 1989. The last time Poland placed was in 2004 where the country was Top 5 with the courtesy of Katarzyna Borowicz.
