Khephra Sylvester is Miss British Virgin Islands 2017

Khephra Sylvester has won the title of Miss British Virgin Islands 2017 on 6th August.  She succeeds Erica Creque as Miss British Virgin Islands winner.  She will represent the British Overseas Territory at Miss World 2017 and Miss Universe 2017 pageants this year.  She also won a 2017 Toyota Yaris, $5,000 cash, jewelry, and a $20,000 educational grant as part of her prize package.

The 25 years old brown-eyed beauty queen from Tortola, British Virgin Islands stands 5 feet 8 inches tall.  Khephra Sylvester will try to achieve the first ever placements for British Virgin Islands at Miss World and Miss Universe.  The pageant Miss British Virgin Islands in past sent the winner only to Miss Universe but from some years they are sending winners to Miss World too.  The runner-up of the pageant is sent to Miss Earth.  This year the opportunity will go to Ayana Phillip or  Helina Hewlett. Both were tied for the second spot.
