Miss World Philippines 2017 will be the first edition to take place under the new franchise owner Arnold Vegafria. 35 beautiful Filipino girls will compete for the crown of Miss World Philippines 2017 winner of this pageant will represent the Philippines at the 67th Miss World pageant in Sanya,China. Catriona Gray, Miss World Philippines 2016 & Top 5 at Miss World 2016 will crown her successor at the end of the pageant. Grand finale of Miss World Philippines 2017 will take place on Sunday September 3,2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City. Runner-ups of this pageant will represent Philippines at Miss Eco International, Reina Hispanoamericana and Miss Multinational 2017.
Megan Young is the only Filipino to win the Miss World crown she won the title in 2013. Philippines has produced numerous runner-ups and semi-finalist at the Miss World pageant to be one of the successful countries at the pageant.
