Alanna Smith is Miss Cook Islands 2017
On July 29, 2017 coronation night, Alanna Smith was crowned as Miss Cook Islands 2017! She hails from Titikaveka, Cook Islands. She will now officially represent Cook Islands in the upcoming Miss World 2017 pageant. With many days of preparation, she was all set to be crowned as Miss World Cook Islands 2017 and succeeded Natalia Short as the new Miss World Cook Islands. Alanna is totally a water baby and was one of the early favorite for the title.
At the same event, Mona Taio was crowned as Miss Earth Cook Islands. She will now represent Cook Islands at Miss Earth 2017 which will be in Philippines. While, Silas Tuaputa was crowned as Miss International Cook Islands and will be competing at Miss International 2017 in Japan.

Cook Islands has never won Miss World crown before. However, last year Natalia Short won the Sports challenge managed to secure a Top 20 spot.
