Maria Poonlertlarp Ehren wins Miss Universe Thailand 2017!

MUT,5: Maria Poonlertlarp Ehren, defeated 39 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Thailand 2017. Grand finale of Miss Universe Thailand 2017 took place on Saturday, July 29 2017 at Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok,Thailand. Chalita Suansane, Miss Universe Thailand 2016 crowned  Maria  as her successor. Maria will represent the Kingdom of Thailand at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant later this year. MUT 38 – Supaporn Ritthipreuk won the first runner-up title where as MUT,3: Fahsai Paweensuda Drouin was crowned as the second runner-up. MUT,21: Suraprin Artkongharn & MUT,34: Ratchanok Naowaset completed the top 5.

Thailand has produced two Miss Universe winners courtesy of Apasra Hongsakula in 1965 and Porntip Nakhirunkanok in 1988. Thailand has hosted the Miss Universe pageant twice in 1992 & 2005.
