The blue-eyed gorgeous Canadian beauty queen, Cynthia Menard is crowned as Miss World Canada 2017 at the coronation night held at John Bassett Theatre Toronto, Ontario. She hails from Ontaria, Canada. She will now officially represent Canada in the upcoming Miss World 2017 pageant. She was also titled as Miss Embrun 2017.
This year MTC-W Inc. obtained the exclusive rights to send the Canadian representative to Miss World lead by Executive Director and Former Miss World Canada’96 Michelle Weswaldi. The elite judging panel for Miss World Canada 2017 included Maureen Fenn, Bianca Teixera, Mark Ming, Cynthia Loewen, Joan Kelly, Ward Anderson, Bahar Niramwalla, Erwyn Loewen and Angeline McDonald. The starry night covered various rounds for contestants along with some amazing musical performances. Cynthia Menard competed with 56 other contestants and won the prestigious title with her amazing personality and charm.
Cynthia Menard is 5’7 ft in height. She is known to be a very kind hearted and caring person. She is also soft spoken and a thoughtful person in nature who enjoys helping people in need. She is currently perusing her post-secondary studies in health sciences, as she aspires to learn more about the human body.
At the same event, Karema Batotele was crowned as Miss Supranational Canada 2017 and Mattea Henderson was crowned as Miss Intercontinental Canada 2017! They will be representing Canada in their respective international pageants.
Canada has never won Miss World crown before. However, in the previous years they have managed to secure 1st Runner Up spots thrice i.e in 1984, 1989 and 2003. In 2003, Nazanin Afshin-Jam from Canada was not just titled as Queen of the Americas but she also won the title of Miss World Sport.
