TGPC’s People’s Choice for Femina Miss India 2017 goes to…
Anukriti Gusain of Uttarakhand is winner of People’s Choice by TGPC for Femina Miss India 2017. She won with huge margin of 12 % votes. In fact she got 1/3rd of the total votes cast in the poll by TGPC. Second spot went to Audrey D’Silva of Goa who won around 22 % votes in the poll. Third spot went to Navpreet Kaur of Punjab who won around 16 % votes. Interestingly, all the contestants have made their presence felt in TGPC (The Great Pageant Community) since few years. No surprises here, anyone and everyone who has anything to do with pageants in India knows about this amazing portal. 🙂
Anukriti Gusain is a popular face in the pageant world of India. She won Delhi round in Femina Miss India 2013 and then was Top 5 in the finals of the main pageant. We urged her to participate in Miss Diva in a popular article, though the next we saw her was in Miss Asia Pacific Talent pageant in 2014 where she was a runner-up. Her presence in Uttarakhand auditions was a sweet surprise. Most of the fans thought she has given up pageants and would be trying her luck in glamor world. She was already seen on Zoom TV as a popular anchor. Thankfully, her Miss World dreams haven’t died and she is back, stronger and more prepared this time. She hasn’t been out of Top 5 of any hot picks of TGPC and it is warm to see people to supporting this perseverant lass. Let’s hope she does well tonight in finals too!
