Nikita Chandak wins Miss Nepal World 2017

Nikita Chandak has been crowned as Miss Nepal World 2017.  She was crowned by Asmi Shrestha, Miss Nepal World 2016.  The finals were held in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.  Nikita defeated 19 contestants to win the title.  Miss Nepal World is the biggest national pageant in Nepal.

In the same event, Rojina Shrestha won the title of Miss Nepal Earth 2017.  Niti Shah won the title of Miss Nepal International 2017.  Sahara Basnet won the title of Miss Nepal Asia-Pacific International 2017.

Nikita Chandak is 20 years of age.  She belongs to Morang.  Now she gets the chance to represent Nepal at Miss World 2017, which will be held in People’s Republic of China later this year.  Nepal has been participating in Miss World 2010.  The first major success of Nepal in the pageant was achieved by Ishani Shrestha, Miss Nepal World 2013.  She won Beauty With a Purpose title and finished in the Top 10.  Last year again, Asmi Shrestha also made it to the Top 5 of Beauty With a Purpose.
