Vian Amer Noori Sulaimani is Miss Iraq 2017

Stunning Vian Amer Noori Sulaimani was crowned as the winner of Miss Iraq 2017. The finale was held at the Babylon Warwick Hotel (Gilgamesh Hall) in Baghdad. She battled out 14 other contestants to claim the title of Miss Iraq. She might represent her country at Miss Universe. She succeeds Shaymaa Qasim Abdulrahman as the new Miss Iraq. 23 year old Vian originally hails from the city of Sulaymaniyah but currently works for an insurance/investment company in Baghdad.

At the same event, Masty Hama (Miss Halabja Hawraman) was crowned as the 1st Runner-up and Marina Roqan (Miss Rusafa-East Baghdad) was crowned as the 2nd Runner-up while Sara Abdulwahid (Miss Erbil) was crowned as 3rd Runner-up. After her win, Vian quoted, “I will work to promote women’s rights in the country”. Below is the complete result of the event.
