Shanaelle Petty is Miss Universe Croatia 2017

Shanaelle Petty was crowned as the winner of Miss Universe Croatia 2017 in a national pageant held last night. She is just 19 years old and hails from Slavonski Brod. Shanaella Petty battled out 17 other girls to claim the title. She will now compete in Miss Universe 2017. Shanaelle succeeds Barbara Filipovic as the new Miss Universe Croatia.

Shanaelle Petty loves to play piano and volley ball in her free time. She was born to an American father and a Croatian mother. She is fluent in English as well as Spanish. Croatia has placed in Miss Universe finale only twice, first being in 2009 when Sarah Cosic reached the Top 15 and second being in 2012 when the major crowd favourite Elizabeta Burg was one of the Top 16.
