Bunga Jelitha Ibrani wins Puteri Indonesia 2017!!!
Bunga Jelitha Ibrani who represented DKI Jakarta 5 at Puteri Indonesia 2017 was crowned as Puteri Indonesia 2017. The grand finale of Puteri Indonesia 2017 took place on Friday 31st March where Kezia Warouw , Puteri Indonesia 2016 winner from Sulawesi Utara crowned Bunga Jelitha as her successor. Bunga will now represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2017 later this year. The reigning Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere of France and Indonesia’s very own Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi were the chief guest at this year’s pageant. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova of Canada was part of the jury at the finale. The grand finale of Puteri Indonesia was aired on Indosiar.
Indonesia has never won Miss Universe crown but it has been slowly gaining momentum at the pageant. Indonesia has managed to place in the last 4 editions of the pageant before 2013 Indonesia had placed just once in 2005.
