Miss Universe 2016 Contestants during Mindanao Tapestry Show — (L-R) Miss Phoenix Jewel- Maxine Medina of the Philippines, Miss Phoenix Smile-Indonesia’s Kezia Warouw and Miss Phoenix Elegance,Miss Venezuela – Mariam Habach

29 contestants of the ongoing 65th Miss Universe which is currently under in the Philippines traveled to Davao City to attend the Mindanano Tapestry fashion show where the contestants showcased creations by designer Renne Salud and Mindanao designers. During this event Miss Venezuela Mariam Habach was awarded the crowd favorite title. Host delegate Maxine Medina picked up Mindanao’s Hiyas and Miss Indonesia, Kezia Warouw was awarded Phoenix Smile title. The Miss Universe pageant is scheduled to take place on 30th January at the Mall of Asia, in Metro Manila.
