6 Beauty Queens of 2016 and their Bollywood Doppelgangers

God is a brilliant creator.  There are billions of people on earth and yet it is rare to find two who look identical.  Still, at times you meet some people and they remind of you someone else.  The similarity may not be 100 %.  It may not be even 60 %.  But it is there.  This year too at times the pageant fans compared the looks of some of the beauty queens with some famous personalities from Bollywood (India’s film industry).

Srinidhi Shetty & Madhuri Dixit

Since the time Srinidhi Shetty was declared as contestant of Miss Diva 2016, people started comparing her with Bollywood’s most successful and loved actress Madhuri Dixit.  Madhuri was known for her vibrant smile which could bring a smile on the face of the most morose person on earth within seconds.  Same is true with Srinidhi.  Her smile is like a fountain, lively and bright.

Katherine Espin & Kirti Reddy

Katherine Espin’s win at Miss Earth 2016 was highly controversial, but no one can rob her of the fact that she has a lovely face and smile.  We coudln’t help but compare her face with that of Kirti Reddy.  Kirti starred in few Bollywood films of 2000s.  Her film, ‘Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya’ with Abhishek Bachchan made her popular among masses.

Kiran Jassal & Bhagyashree

The moment Kiran Jassal was crowned as Miss Malaysia 2016, people started to compare her with Bollywood actress Bhagyashree.  Bhagyashree rose to fame with Bollywood blockbuster ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ in early 1990s but then she gave up her career for marriage.  Of course, Kiran is way taller, but faces are a bit simialr for sure.

Pooja Priyanka & Sonali Sehgal

We at the Great Pageant Community had the privilege of a Live Chat with Miss Fiji World Pooja Priyanka with our members.  During the chat, many of us felt she looks a bit like Sonali Sehgal, Femina Miss India International 2006.  Sonali later starred in Bollywood films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’.

Catriona Gray & Isha Sharvani

Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray’s face bears some similarities in many of her pictures with Indian dancer Isha Sharvani.  Isha has also appeared in some Bollywood films like ‘Kisna’.

Priyadarshini Chatterjee & Deepika Padukone

Many times people compared Miss World India 2016 Priyadarshini Chatterjee’s face with that of Deepika Padukone.  Of course, Deepika doesn’t need introduction.  She is one of the leading actresses of Bollywood who will appear with Vin Diesel in the latest film of ‘XXX’ series.
