Azharudin Ansari from India has won the title of Dubai Man of the World 2016.  Azharudin is a model based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and works there in the fashion industry.  He defeated around 19 other contestants from around the world to win the title in a grand event in Dubai.  Blake Stemm from Australia finished second, Victor Suiu from Molvoda finished third, Jason Said Diakita from Cameroon finished fourth and Marian Babinsky from Slovakia finished fifth.

Azharudin Ansari joins five other men who brought pride to India by winning international male pageants in 2016.  In all, Ansari is one of the 12 international pageant winners from India this year.  The titles won by Indians this year are Miss Supranational 2016, Miss Globe 2016, Mrs Asia International 2016, Miss Scuba International 2016, Reina Petite Intercontinental 2016, Reina de las Ciudades del Mundo 2016 (Queen of the cities of the world), Face of the world international 2016, Supermodel Universe 2016, Face of Asia 2016, Mister World 2016, Mister United Continents 2016 and Man of the World International 2016.
