Raquel Pelissier is struggling to get financial support from her organisation to sponsor her for Miss Universe 2016. The organisation approached ‘
Go Fund Me’ organisation to help them get donation for Raquel. The organisation typically needs $6000 to be able to participate in Miss Universe contest. This is what was written on her profile on Go Fund Me:
“In the midst of post Hurricane Matthew, a lot of sponsors have pulled out on us to support other causes. Therefore, Miss Haiti Organization finds itself struggling financially to participate in Miss Universe 2016. Thus, we seek your support in helping us, and Miss Haiti Universe 2016, Raquel Pelissier reach out goals.
Raquel Pelissier, 25, was born and raised in Haiti. She is an optometrist and currently doing a master’s deree in scientific research. Raquel is working on a project of the regeneration of the optic nerve. Her dream is to one day find a cure for blindness. Raquel speaks fluently creole, french, english and spanish. She enjoys reading and working out.
Raquel was 3rd Runner Up in Reina Hispanoamericana 2016, in Bolivia. She won the title Miss Sports Patra. She was also nominated for:

– Top 5 Best Body
– Top 5 Miss Elegance
– Top 3 Chica Ipanema
