20-year-old Maria Camila Soleibe of Colombia defeated 22 other contestants to bag the title of Reina Hispanoamericana 2016. Grand finale of the pageant took place on 5th November 2016 in Santa Cruz,Bolivia. Sofia del Prado Prieto, Reina Hispanoamericana 2015 from Spain crowned Maria as her successor at the end of the event. Magdalena Chiprés from Mexico was crowned as Virreina Hispanoamericana 2016. Brazil’s Mayra Alves bagged the first runner-up crown and Miss Venezuela Antonella Massaro was awarded the second runner-up crown. The pageant was aired across the Latin countries via Unitel.

Reina Hispanoamericana was established in the year 1991 it is a pageant for Latin countries . Gloria Suarez from Bolivia started the pageant & it slowly got famous across the continent from 10 countries to more than 20 countries take part now. Brazil’s Patricia Maria Franco de Godoi was the first winner of the pageant.
