Cho Sehui is crowned as Miss Universe Korea 2017.  She will represent Korea at Miss Universe 2017.  Kim Seo-yeon was Miss Korea at Miss Universe 2015 and Jenny Kim is appointed to represent Korea at Miss Universe 2016.  As per unconfirmed reports, Kim Ha-Eun was announced as Miss World Korea 2017 after the pageant was over.

Cho Sehui is 25 years old, 1.71 m tall.  She was Miss Gyeonggi 2014 1st runner-up.  She is from Busan, South Korea but has also lived in Australia.

Korea at Miss Universe

Korea has done a decent job at Miss Universe till now.  They made it to the Top 15 for 5 years during 1959-1963. Next placement of Korea was achieved by Kim Eun-jung in Miss Universe 1980; she was Top 12.  The highest placement of Korea till now was achieved in Miss Universe 1988 by Jang Yoon-jeong, who finished as 1st Runner-up.  The last Miss Korea to place in Top 5 of Miss Universe was Lee Ha-nui, also known as Honey Lee.  She was 3rd Runner-up in Miss Universe 2007.  Will Jenny Kim place in Miss Universe 2016?  What will be the fate of Cho Sehui at Miss Universe 2017?  Time will only tell.
