Meet Miss International 2016 Contestants !!!

Miss International 2016 Contestants: Miss International 2016 will be the 56th edition of the pageant. More than 60 plus countries and territories will compete for the title of Miss International 2016. Miss International 2015, Edymar Martinez of Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the event. Grand finale of Miss International 2016 will take place on 27th October 2016 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo,Japan. Miss International pageant in one of the biggest and reputed pageants in the world.

Often,criticised for being racist towards dark skinned contestants the pageant is yet to crown an African or Indian winner. The pageant was first organised in the year 1960 at Long Beach,California. Stella Márquez from Colombia was the first recipient of Miss International crown. Venezuela has produced seven Miss International winners making it the most successful country closely followed by Asian powerhouse the Philippines which has managed to bag five Miss International titles. Germany’s Ingrid Finger holds the record for the longest-serving beauty queen she reigned till 1967.
