Itzel Paola Astudillo crowned Miss Earth Mexico 2016

Itzel Paola Astudillo from Chiapas was crowned as the winner of Miss Earth Mexico 2016 during the national pageant held last Saturday. The finale of the said pageant was held at the Querétaro Centro de Congresos y Convenciones. She battled out 30 other delegates to claim the title of Miss Earth Mexico 2016. Itzel Paola Astudillo will now represent Mexico in Miss Earth 2016 to be held later this year. She succeeds Gladys Flores Simon as the new Miss Earth Mexico.

Itzel Paola Astudillo is currently a student of Veterinary Medicine. She is also a  professional in the networking industry and marketing. The country continuously placed in Top 16 of Miss Earth from 2011 to 2014. However is yet to win the crown. This year Itzel will try her luck at grabbing the first ever crown for Mexico.
