Luisa Andrea Soemitha is crowned as Miss Earth Indonesia 2016

Luisa Andrea Soemitha is crowned as Miss Earth Indonesia 2016.  She will represent Indonesia at Miss Earth 2016 pageant that will take place in October 2016 in the Philippines.  Luisa succeeds Belinda Pritasari as Miss Earth Indonesia.

Indonesia has never placed at Miss Earth pageant.  Hnece Luisa Andrea Soemitha can create history if she achieves a placement at Miss Earth 2016.

Indonesia is one of the countries which are warming up to pageantry in a strong way in the recent years.  Indonesia has been continuously placing at Miss Universe pageant since 3 years.  At Miss World pageant last year, Indonesia’s Maria Harfanti placed third overall.  She won the coveted “Beauty with a purpose” award in the pageant.  Can Luisa Andrea Soemitha add power to the momentum  of pageantry success that Indonesia has been conjuring in the recent years?

Luisa seems to be a weak delegate at first look.  In recent years, Miss Earth has been attracting some really beautiful women and the same is expected this year too.  While Miss Earth is pretty unpredictable, we don’t predict a placement for Indonesia this year.  She is not in our Top 16.
