[Opinion] Can Ishita Sachdeva be Miss Diva 2016 winner?

Ishita Sachdeva is Campus Princess Season 2 Winner

Yesterday, Ishita Sachdeva was crowned as the winner of Campus Princess Season 2 during the final auditions of Miss Diva 2016. With this title Ishita became one of the Top 16 Contestants of Miss Diva 2016. Ishita stirred the debate in the pageant circuit as many people liked her win and certain people thought better girls were there to win the title. However, what we are curious about is whether she will win the title of Miss Diva 2016? The winner of Miss Diva 2016 will go on to represent India at Miss Universe 2016.

Vote for Your Favourite at Miss Diva 2016

Something that amazes us about the trend that the winners of Campus Princess follows every year. They are great and generally becomes a strong bet for the crown but somehow doesn’t win it. A trivia about the Campus Princess Winners goes as below:

Sree Radhe Khanduja: Sree Radhe Khanduja was the first ever winner of Campus Princess initiative in Miss Diva 2014. Her exquisite looks became an instant favourite of people. In fact she became a major front runner for the crown as she was performing extremely well in all the tasks. However, in finale we saw she had some arguments with Akshay Kumar during closed door interviews and she ended up with being only in Top 7.

Aafreen Rachael Vaz: This tall stunning lady won hearts of people during Femina Miss India 2015 where she entered through Campus Princess. Many people wanted her to win the main crown of Miss India, but as she was an OCI entry, she wasn’t eligible to win the Miss World India crown. She later on became 1st runner-up and represented India in Miss Supranational 2015 where she was one of the Top 10 and was also declared as the Queen of Asia and Oceania. No one ever knew whether she won the main title during the finale?

Hemali Soni: Another stunning girl scouted through Campus Princess platform in Miss Diva 2015 season. She also became an instant favourite of people as she was extremely beautiful and was well spoken. The pageant circuit was divided majorly between Urvashi Rautela, Hida Siddiqui and Hemali Soni as their winner. Many thought that Hemali Soni would be a sure shot Top 3 if not the main winner, but she was left out in Top 7 during the finale of Miss Diva 2015. Many pageant enthusiast even today are expecting for this girl to return to the pageants.

Pankhuri Gidwani: One of the tallest girls of the batch won the crowd with her bubbliness during Miss India 2016. She was also a crown pick for many along with Priyadarshini Chatterjee and Sushruti Krishna. Pankhuri ended up as second runner-up and shall now be representing India at Miss Grand International 2016 this year.

Now we come to 2 conclusions here, first is that the winner of Campus Princess is yet to win the main title of their respective pageants (Miss India/Miss Diva). Another conclusion is that the winner of Campus Princess does well in Femina Miss India but her placement in Miss Diva is comparatively less.
