Ami Hachiya crowned Miss Earth Japan 2016 [Result]
Porcelain doll look alike Ami Hachiya was crowned as the winner of Miss Earth Japan 2016. She will now represent Japan in Miss Earth 2016 later this year in Philippines. She succeeds Ayano Yamada as the new Miss Earth Japan. Ami Hachiya battled out 15 other contestants to claim the title of Miss Earth Japan 2016.

At the same pageant, Miyu Toyoshima was crowned as Miss Air Japan, Manae Miyakoshi crowned as Miss Water Japan and Ayana Matsuda was crowned as Miss Fire Japan. Japan has a decent placement records and one of the best from Asian countries apart from Philippines and India. Japan placed 3 times consecutively in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and also won Best in National Costume twice in 2010 and 2011.

Ami Hachiya’s extremely pretty face is a treat to watch. Considering the general Asian domination in Miss Earth contest compared to other pageants, we are expecting a good placement for Ami this year.
