Jaime-Lee Faulkner has been chosen as Miss Universe Great Britain 2016. She succeeds Nena France as Miss Universe Great Britain. She will represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2016, which may be held in the Philippines in January 2017.
This 26 years old beauty is not new to pageants. Jaime-Lee Faulkner won Miss Scuba International title in past. She also participated in Miss Universe Great Britain in past. She is from Sheffield.
Great Britain has not achieved much success at Miss Universe in recent years. The only placement that they achieved in the current century was in the year 2013 when Amy Willerton placed among the Top 10 Finalists in the Miss Universe 2013 finals that were held in Moscow. Amy was among the favorites, but she could not make the Top 5 cut and Gabriela Isler of Venezuela was chosen as the winner. Even today many fans claim that Amy deserved to make the Top 5 cut instead of Miss Philippines Ara Ariella Arida. Amy was overall 6th based on scores. Last year too the hopes were high from Nena France because she looked very beautiful and did pretty well in the presentation show. Unfortunately she was not called among the Top 15 semi-finalists. Now the responsibility of bringing success to Great Britain lies in the hands of Jaime-Lee Faulkner.
Jaime-Lee Faulkner’s chances at Miss Universe 2016
One point in favor of Jaime-Lee Faulkner is her pageant experience. She has a pretty face and a glow that will help her chances. If she works on her ramp-walk skills and body, she may actually surprise us in Miss Universe 2016. For now, we don’t see her placing.
