Nuestra Belleza Uruguaya 2016-Romina Trotto

19-year-old Romina Trotto defeated 18 other contestants to bag the crown of Nuestra Belleza Uruguaya 2016. Grand finale of the pageant took place on 24th June 2016 at Radisson Victoria Plaza de Montevideo. Sherika de Armas crowned Romina as her successor at the end of the event. Romina will represent Uruguay at the 66th edition of Miss World pageant which will take place in Washington D.C. Melina Carballo bagged Miss Grand Uruguay 2016 crown she will represent Uruguay at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thalía García was declared as the first runner-up where as Sofía Algorta and Johana Clara bagged second runner-up and third runner-up crown.Uruguay is yet to win the Miss World crown. The highest placement for Uruguay at Miss World was in 2000 when Katja Alexandra Thomsen Grien ended up in the top 5 of the pageant.

19-years-old Romina is winner of Uruguay’s Elite Model Look 2014.She is currently working as a model under elite modeling agency. Her father is from Uruguay and her mother is from Bolivia this 5ft 9 inches beauty holds a bachelors degree in English and French. Romina aspired to become a model and work in the fashion industry since her childhood. She enjoys sketching,travelling  barbecues and singing.
