Yaritza Reyes has been chosen as Miss Dominican Republic World 2016 (Miss Mundo Dominicana).  She is 22 years old.  Her height is 1.81 m.  Her eyes and hair are brown in color.  She is also an actress, singer and model.  She was a front-runner for the title and her win is not a surprise.  She was a Top 10 finalist at Miss Universe 2013.

Yaritza Reyes is the 14th winner of Miss Mundo Dominicana title.  She will be the first one to win Miss World title, if she does win at Miss World 2016.  6 of the Miss Mundo Dominicana title-holders have placed at Miss World by far.  The highest placement was achieved by Claudia Julissa Cruz Rodríguez who finished second in Miss World 2004.  2007 winner Ada Aimée de la Cruz Ramirez was Beach Beauty title winner.  She later finished 2nd in Miss Universe 2009.  2011 winner Marianly Tejada Burgos won Sports event in Miss World 2011.  Last year’s winner Cinthya Nunez failed to place at Miss World 2015, after hatrick placements from 2012-2014

Yaritza Reyes is definitely a girl to watch out for in Miss World 2016.  She created buzz in Miss Universe 2013.  As per many, she had one of the best personalities in the pageant.  In one of the events of Miss Universe, she fell down in a pothole on the ramp!  Her main strength was her fabulous body.  As per reports, she was 10th in swimsuit & 8th in evening rounds of finals.

In Miss World 2016, she will do very good in the Top Model round.  She may place in talent round due to her singing skills.  She has the personality that can help her score among the toppers in the interview competition.  Overall, a placement for Dominican Republic is quite probable in the finals.  In our opinion, she can even make the Top 3 although we don’t see her as a winner.  We’ll play safe by saying for now, she will be perhaps a Top 10 finalist.  A lot depends on her preparations too.
