Michelle Leon is Miss Grand USA 2016

Michelle Leon was crowned as the winner of Miss Grand United States at the end of the national event held on 28th May 2016 evening. The event was held in New York.  She is 19-years-old and represented New York in the contest. Michelle Leon succeeds Lauren Peterson, Miss Grand USA 2015. Lauren was a Top 20 finalists at Miss Grand International 2015 pageant.

Michelle has Ecuadorian roots and was the winner of the title of Miss Ecuador New York in the year 2013. Currently she works as a model. United States has never won the title of Miss Grand International. Michelle Leon shall make an attempt to get it this year.
