Who will succeed Lisa Punch as Miss World Guyana 2016? Meet the 10 finalist

Miss World Guyana 2016 will take place on 27th May 2016 in the national capital Georgetown. This year’s pageant will commemorate 50 years since the first ever Miss World Guyana was crowned in 1966. Winner of this pageant will represent Guyana at Miss World 2016 pageant later this year. Miss World Guyana 2015, Lisa Punch will crown her successor at the end of the event. Lisa became the first Miss Guyana to win the talent challenger event at the Miss World 2015 pageant. She performed live during the finale of the pageant as well. The 10 finalist will compete in various fast tracks Sports & fitness, Talent, Interview, Top Model, multimedia competition, and Beauty with a Purpose. In a statement issued by the Miss World Guyana Org “Miss World-Guyana 2016 should posses “Super “G” qualities: Generous, Genial, Good, Gregarious, Golden, Guyanese, Global, Gifted, and Graceful.”

The Crown

This year’s winner will receive a new crown called “The Majesty crown”. The crown is custom made and features swarovski crystal and is 24 carat gold plated.
