Meet the Contestants of Puteri Indonesia  2016

Puteri Indonesia 2016 will take place on February 19th 2016 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta,Indonesia. Winner of this pageant will represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2016 where as the runner-ups will represent Indonesia at Miss International & Miss Supranational 2016 respectively. Last year’s winner  Anindya Kusuma Putri of Central Java will crown her successor at the end of the event. This will be the 20th edition of the pageant. Miss Universe 2015- Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines will attend the coronation ball as the chief guest. 39 contestants from 34 provinces have been shortlisted.

Indonesia has never won the Miss Universe crown it has placed only four times at the pageant their first placement was in 2005 courtesy of Artika Sari Devi. Indonesia has successfully placed in the last three editions of Miss Universe pageant. Elfin Pertiwi Rappa is the only delegate from Indonesia to have placed at Miss International pageant.
