Maydeliana Diaz may be Miss Earth Venezuela 2016!

There is a buzz in the pageant groups that Maydeliana Diaz may be chosen as Venezuela’s bet for Miss Earth 2016.  She was Miss Sucre in Miss Venezuela 2015 and later won the title of Miss International Queen of coffee.  There is no official confirmation about this though.

Generally the winner of Miss Earth Venezuela title competes in the Miss Earth pageant of the following year.  But problem begun with Stephanie De Zorzi.  She won the title of Miss Earth Venezuela 2013.  She was to fly to Philippines in November 2014 to compete for Miss Earth 2014 and become successor to Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich from Venezuela.  However, in November itself, Miss Venezuela Organization decided not to allow her to compete.  This is because she had gained weight during her trip to Mexico for a modelling job.  Instead of her, Miss Earth Venezuela 2014 Maria Rodriguez was sent to Miss Earth 2014.  Stephanie was still allowed to keep her title and complete her reign as Miss Earth Venezuela 2013.  In Miss Earth 2015, Miss Earth Venezuela 2015 competed.  Hence this year perhaps Maydeliana Diaz will be Miss Venezuela at Miss Earth 2016 and the winner of Miss Earth Venezuela 2016 title will go to Miss Earth 2017.  However, there is still no official confirmation on this.
