Biggest Robbery at Miss Universe 2015 Finale
If you think we would be discussing about the controversial crowning at Miss Universe 2015 today, going by the title, you are wrong my dear 😉 The discussion today revolves around how few girls who deserved more but were kept out for various reasons. Miss Universe 2015 finale had many stunner competing for the title, but for us 3 girls deserved a bit more than what they got, for us, it can be called as a robbery as they were robbed by some other girl taking the spot instead of her. The 3 girls are as below:
Miss Vietnam- Huong Pham
Speaking with all the honesty, we have hardly seen any Miss Universe Vietnam as stunning as Huong Pham. She had all the spices that could have made a great way towards the crown in the finale. Her preliminary evening gown performance was rated as one of the best performances that night and that towering height of hers added an extra charm on her. However, the shock came when we saw her exclusion from Top 15 in the finale of Miss Universe 2015. We literally failed to understand what went wrong. Could it be closed-door interview? or a weak sash factor? or the fact that she comes in the same batch where we have Venezuela and USA next to her performing? She could have been a gem in the finale only if she was there. Recently heard that she is now Miss Grand Vietnam 2016 and will represent her country in Miss Grand International 2016. Hopefully, she will get her due there.
Miss Brazil-Mathina Brandt
Mathina Brandt continued the placement steak of Brazil as expected. She had the body to die for and one of the most amazing performances in the finale during swimsuit round. However, we were literally shocked to see when Brazil was left out in the ice when the Top 10 was called. She was one of the top-notch performers in the swimsuit round and yet she was out. She had an amazing gown in preliminary. If she was there in Top 10, she would have probably made Top 5 as well. She was first to be called out and perform in the finale, may the that worked against her; as judges might get liberal in scoring for the girls entering later on.
Miss Thailand- Aniporn Chalermburanawong
We don’t know how long we might have to wait to see such a stunning girl from Thailand again. We loved Aniporn like anything when we saw her in the finale evening gown. She had one of the finest evening gowns performances in the finale. The look she carried was extremely neat and well styled. Miss USA also had similar gown pattern, not the design, but had little lacking performance compared to Thailand. Yet we wonder how Aniporn failed to make the cut? She should have been there in Top 5 at least. Top 5 would have been fine with her inclusion instead of USA or Australia.
