Meet the 14 stunning Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 contestants , winner of this pageant will represent Malaysia at the 65th edition of Miss Universe next year. The grand finale of Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 will take place during the last week of January at Golden Horse Hotel,Kuala Lumpur . Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 – Vanessa Tevi Kumares will crown her successor at the end of the event. Miss Malaysia Universe 2013 Carey Ng is the national director of Miss Universe Malaysia. Sarah AlHabshee Abdullah in 1962 was the first delegate from Malaysia at the Miss Universe pageant.

Malaysia has placed only once at the Miss Universe pageant courtesy of Josephine Lena Wong at Miss Universe 1970. The Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 pageant is supporting the cause of HIV & Aids in association with Malaysian Aids Council. Winner of this contest will receive cash prize of 20,000 RMS & prizes worth 200,000 RMS.
