Miss Universe 2015 is about to end! Oh what a pageant it has been! After facing so many challenges this year, the pageant came out with flying colors. Clearly the best batch for a pageant this year competed. The pageant clearly overshadowed Miss World in terms of fan-attention. Some really stunning girls are vying for the crown. Prelims on 16th really asserted what some of us have been saying since long – this is perhaps one of the best Miss Universe batches. It is a battle-ground. The judges will have a difficult time selecting the Top 15. So did our experts. However, finally they have made it – here are the Final and Exclusive, much-awaited Miss Universe 2015 Hotpicks of TGPC.
Top 15 Finalists
TANZANIA: Lorraine Marriot grabbed instant attention in the pageant with her amazing evening gown shot. She is very photogenic. In the presentation show, she was nice in both rounds. Say hello to the front-runner of Africa!
PARAGUAY: Myriam Arevalos is cousin of Miss Paraguay 2006. Just like Lourdes, she too shone when time came. She is one of the good surprises of prelims.
NETHERLANDS: Jessie Jazz is one more star contestant from Kim Kotter. Like Yasmin Verheijen, Jessie can surprise everyone in finals. Jessie was SO GOOD in the swimsuit round of prelims.
GREAT BRITAIN: Nena France is another surprise in the prelims. She is beautiful, everyone knew that. But she is so good on stage, we know that only now! Anushka Sharma, meet your double!
KOSOVO: Mirjeta Shala has the “super-model” thing about her, though it didn’t show much in swimsuit round. But in evening gown round, this girl proved that she is from the land of Marigona Dragusha.
Top 10 Finalists
VIETNAM: Huong Pham became a favorite for Miss Universe pageant since she won her national pageant. She proved her strength by fabulous performances in the presentation show. Don’t know what to praise more – her amazing walk or her beautiful gown?
VENEZUELA: Mariana Jimenez has not been in good books of many fans but then she is Miss Venezuela. She just has to perform well when the time comes. Mariana was amazing in the swimsuit round. But yes, we wish she had done her hair before the evening gown round.
THAILAND: Aniporn Chalermburanawong has been popular among the fans since day 1. She lived up to the fuzz and the buzz. Her body is enviably good.
FRANCE: Flora Coquerel is a Miss World alumni and expectations were high from her. She was great in the swimsuit round. Like Miss World, she might just top the interview scores in Miss Universe too!
USA: Olivia Jordan is one of the matured and highly prepared girls of the pageant. Her personality and glamshot are A+, but her presentation show performances were about B+ for us. If she makes the Top 5 in finals, expect her to win with ease.
Top 5 Finalists
BRAZIL: Marthina Brandt was elected just last month as Miss Brazil and since that day she has been among the favorites of many. She certainly lived up to the hype by doing a fabulous job in the presentation show. Brazil has been doing great in Miss Universe in the recent years. Hopefully Marthina would continue the streak.
COLOMBIA: Ariadna Gutierrez has been one of the major favorites since day 1. Her aura and confidence are just undeniable. The same held true during prelims. She was amazing in both the rounds of the presentation show. The only thing against Ariadna is the fact that the reigning Miss Universe Paulina Vega is from her country. 
2nd Runner-up – DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Clarissa Molina has been often touted as Rolene Strauss of Miss Universe 2015. However she is actually better than Rolene in some aspect. For one, she is taller and walks so much better! She was a delight to watch in the presentation show. This girl is gorgeous, plus she walks like a star. Her affable presence adds icing on the cake.
1st Runner-up – PHILIPPINES
Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has dreamt of becoming Miss Universe since years and that is the reason she tried in her national pageant for the third time. She proved to everyone that she means business by her transformation prior to Miss Universe. All her training and efforts were visible in the presentation show. She was amazing in both the rounds. We are hearing that she will be wearing a better gown in the finals. She is easily the best girl from Philippines at Miss Universe in years. Won’t be surprised if she wins on 20th!
Miss Universe 2015 – INDIA
While prelims are an important part of the pageant, these days winning is about being a star since day 1. On that basis, Urvashi Rautela is the clear sunshine of the pageant. She has looked amazing in all the events. Her official pictures have been delicious and so was her prelims performance. This girl stunned everyone with her energy in the swimsuit round and looked divinely pretty in the evening gown round. She for sure can be the third Miss Universe of India.
Thus, we feel it is finally Asia’s year at Miss Universe 2015. In 1994, Miss USA finished 4th, Miss Venezuela finished 3rd, Miss Colombia finished 2nd and Miss India won. In 2012, 2013 and 2014-2015, USA, Venezuela and Colombia respectively have won. 2015 will belong to India? We think so!
