Bridget Jacobs wins Miss Minnesota USA 2016

Bridget Jacobs crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2016!!!

Bridget Jacobs won the title of Miss Minnesota USA 2016 by defeating 30 other contestants.Finale of Miss Minnesota USA 2016 took place on 29th November 2015 at at The Ames Center in Burnsville. Bridget was crowned by the outgoing Miss Minnesota USA 2015 – Jessica Scheu. Bridget will represent Minnesota at Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. The first runner-up crown went Emily Fredericks to where as Jennifer Monson was declared as second runner-up. In the same event Sophia Primozich was crowned as Miss Teen Minnesota USA 2016. Sophia will represent Minnesota at Miss Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.

Barbara Peterson Miss USA 1976 is the only winner from the state. Barbara was the first Miss USA to go unplaced at the Miss Universe pageant.Deborah Cossette won the second runner-up at 1977 edition of Miss USA. Lanore Van Buren was third runner-up at Miss USA 2002 & Kari Lee Johnson was fourth runner-up in 1985 edition of Miss USA. Apart from these ladies Minnesota has placed nine times at Miss USA pageant. Minnesota has three Miss Contingently and two Miss Photogenic awards to it’s credit.

20-year-old Bridget hails from Maple Grove,Minnesota. Bridget is not new to the world of pageantry she competed in the 2015 edition of Miss Minnesota USA where she was crowned as second runner-up. If Bridget wins the Miss USA title she will be the second women from her state to do so.
