Halley Maas is crowned as Miss North Dakota USA 2016!!!
Halley Maas was crowned as Miss North Dakota 2016 in a glittery ceremony that took place on 22nd November 2015 at North Dakota State University’s Festival Concert Hall.Halley was crowned by the outgoing Miss North Dakota USA 2015- Molly Ketterling. Halley will now represent North Dakota at Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. First runner-up crown went to Raquel Wellentin where as Jenna Morlock bagged the second runner-up crown. In the same event Paige Mathison was crowned as Miss Teen North Dakota USA 2016, Paige will represent North Dakota at Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.
North Dakota is one of the least successful state at the Miss USA pageant. The state has placed only four times at the pageant. Audra Mari Miss North Dakota USA 2014 bagged the first runner-up crown at the Miss USA 2014 pageant. Judy Ann Slayton was third runner-up at the Miss USA 1966 edition,Elizabeth Jaeger bagged fourth runner-up at Miss USA 1983 and Juliette Spier was part of the top 6 at the 1996 edition.
