Sirey Moran crowned Miss Universe Honduras 2016
Sirey Moran was crowned as Miss Universe Honduras 2016 at the end of the national event that was held on 20th November 2015. The finale was held at the Altara Life Style Center in San Pedro Sula. She will now represent her Honduras in Miss Universe 2016. Sirey Moran battled out 11 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Honduras 2016. She succeeded Iroshka Elvir as the new Miss Universe Honduras. The finale comprised of various rounds like Talent, Evening Gown, Swimsuit and Question Answer round. The crowning of Sirey Moran came out as a surprised on as there was no formal declaration of such title before the finale of the pageant. With Iroshka Elvir being crowned as Miss Universe Honduras 2015, Sirey was declared as the representative of Honduras for 2016 at Miss Universe.
Sirey Moran is not a new face to pageants. She was a contestant during Miss Honduras 2013 where she couldn’t succeed to win any title. She later on represented Honduras in Top Model of the World 2014 where she was one of the crown favourites and also placed among the Top 15. She was also a contestant at Miss Intercontinental 2014 where she was again a favourite for the crown. However, she couldn’t find a placement here. Sirey has been working as a professional model since 2013 in New York.
At the same event, apart from Iroshka Elvir being crowned as Miss Universe Honduras 2015, Bernadette Sanchez was crowned as Miss Honduras United Continents 2016, Alejandra Alcantara was crowned as Miss Honduras Piel Canela 2016 and Vanessa Villars was adjudged as Miss Honduras Universo Virreina. The runners-up were Roxana Galo, Marbella Reyes, Nelly Nembhard and Keydi Solis.
We feel that Sirey Moran might just be what Honduras was looking till now. She is sexy, she is stylist and she has a very good experience of Modelling.
