Rym Amari has been appointed as Miss World Algeria 2015.  Algeria was not sending contestants from 12 years.  Rym Amari had won the title of Miss Algerie 2013.  She is a journalist from Algiers.  She had crowned her successor Fatima Zohra last year.  Fatima could not procure visa on time and hence missed out on being a part of Miss World 2014.  Fatima was relieved from her duties earlier this year and now Rym has been chosen to represent Algeria at Miss World.  Rym now has the opportunity to represent Algeria at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China.  The finals of the pageant will be held on 19th December, 2015.  The reigning Miss World Rolene Strauss will be crowning her successor from 120+ contestants.  The new Miss World, i.e. Miss World 2015 will get the life-time opportunity to represent the prestigious Miss World Organization for the coming year.

Rym Amari is 21 and stands 1.8 meters tall.  She will be the second representative from Algeria to Miss World.  First was Miss Algerie 2002 Lamia Saoudi.  She did not make the Top 20 cut.  Along with Algeria, countries like Botswana, Bulgaria, Chile, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, Kazakhstan, Macedonia FYRO, Morocco, Samoa, St. Kitts & Nevis, Zambia are also returning to Miss World after break.

Placing in Miss World 2015 will be a challenge for Rym Amari because this year’s edition is one of the toughest in the recent years.  Brazil is sending a bomb-shell by the name Catherine Choi who is currently said to be the front-runner for Miss World 2015 title.  Miss World America 2015 Victoria Mendoza, Femina Miss India 2015 Aditi Arya, Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie, Miss World Australia 2015 Tess Alexander, Miss Ecuador Camila Maranon, Miss France Hinarere Taputu, Miss Mexico Yamelin Ramirez and Miss Thailand Thunchanok Moonnilta are some of the other front-runners at the moment.
