Peyton Brown wins Miss Alabama USA 2016!!!
Peyton Brown from Eufaula was crowned as Miss Alabama USA 2016 in a glittering ceremony that took place on 7th November 2015 at Montgomery Performing Arts Center. Peyton will represent the state of Alabama at Miss USA 2016 next year, she was crowned by the outgoing Miss Alabama USA 2015 – Madison Guthrie. The first runner-up crown went to Barron Rae Williams from Lake Martin where as second runner-up crown went to Alyssa Knight from Capstone. In the same event Erin Snow from Gadsden was crowned as Miss Teen Alabama USA 2016. Erin will now represent Alabama at Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.
Alabama has one Miss USA winner Sylvia Hitchcock who went on to win Miss Universe 1967 crown. Alabama has produced four first runner-up at Miss USA pageant Pamela Flowers at Miss USA 1975, Candace Michelle Brown at Miss USA 1992, Michelle Arnette Miss USA 2003 and Mary-Margaret McCord at Miss USA 2013.The state boasts five second runner up crowns alongside 1 each of third and fourth runner-up crowns and various semi final spots.

22 year old Peyton hails from Eufaula. She represented Alabama at Miss Teen USA 2012 where she was a semi finalist. Peyton lost her father due to cancerin 2000 since then she has been active member of American Cancer Society. Peyton is currently pursuing broadcast journalism at Auburn University. She enjoys sports she is a member of basketball,soccer and cheerleading squad. She enjoys horse riding and water sports in spare time she loves to cook and bake.
