Lara Debbane is Miss World Egypt 2015
Lara Debbane is hand-picked for the title of Miss World Egypt 2015. She was appointed as Miss Egypt on 31st October for Miss World 2015 contest. The contest finale shall be held on 19th December 2015 in Sanya, China. The reigning Miss World, Rolene Strauss will crown her successor at the end of the event. Lara Debbane succeeded Amina Ashraf who was one of the Top 23 in Beauty With a Purpose fast track event at Miss World 2014.
Lara Debbane is a 21-year-old beauty who previously competed in Miss Egypt 2015 where she was crowned as the winner. With that title, she represented Egypt in Miss Universe 2014 contest. However, she could not manage to place in the finale. She is also a niece of Miss Egypt 1987, Hoda Aboud. Currently Lara Debbane is working as an actress. She started her acting career since her school days by participating into various plays. She played the lead role in ‘Sound of Music’ where her acting skills were praised a lot. She has studied at Oasis International school. She can speak 4 languages fluently- Arabic, French, English and Italian. She stands 5′ 9″ tall.
Egypt has won Miss World crown only once in 1954 where Antigone Costanda was crowned as Miss World. Lara Debbane will try her best to grab the second ever crown of Miss World for Egypt. Lara does have good potential to place but winning will be bit challenging considering extremely tough competition lying at Miss World contest. Girls like Liesl Laurie from South Africa, Victoria Mendoza from USA, Aria Perez from Guam,Tess Alexander from Australia, Aditi Arya from India, Sanneta Myrie from Jamaica, Camila Maranonfrom Ecuador, Gabriela Salazar from Honduras, Lisa Punch from Guyana, Arlene Tacite from Guadalupe ,Daniela Miron from Argentina, Hillarie Danielle from Philippines, Anyela Galante from Venezuela, Marta Palucka from Poland; Aria Perez Theisen from Guam; to name a few, are competing very strong at this year’s Miss World contest.
