Charity Lu Lu Seng crowned Miss World Singapore 2015
Charity Lu Lu Seng, also known as Charity Maru, was crowned as Miss World Singapore 2015 at the conclusion of the national pageant. The finale was held in One Farrer Hotel and Spa on 21st October 2015. Charity Lu Lu Seng had to defeat 13 other stunning girls to claim the title of Miss World Singapore 2015. She will now represent her country at Miss World 2015 which shall be held on 19th December 2015 in Sanya, China. She succeeded Dalreena Poonam Gill, Miss World Singapore 2014, as the new Miss World Singapore. Charity is a 24-year-old freelance translator who is a relatively new citizen, getting her pink IC (Pink Identity Cards for Singapore Citizens) only in 2007.
At the same event, Kuek Ziyi was crowned as the first runner-up, Charis Lin was crowned as the second runner-up, Ashley Chin was crowned as the third runner-up and Sheen Cher stood as the fourth runner-up.
