Hillarie Danielle Parungao wins Miss World Philippines 2015 [Results]
Contestant No 19 Hillarie Danielle Parungao won the fifth edition of Miss World Philippines 2015 . Hillarie will now represent The Philippines at the 65th edition of Miss World which will take place on 19th December at the Crown of Beauty Theater,in Sanya,China. The first runner-up crown went to contestant number 4 Marita Cassandra Naidas where as contestant no 21 Mia Allyson Howell was crowned as second runner up. Hillarie Parungao was crowned by the outgoing queen Valerie Weigmann Miss World Philippines 2014. The finale of Miss World Philippines 2015 took place at Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City.
The Miss World Philippines Pageant was created in the year 2011 after the franchise was taken from Binibining Pilipinas. In it’s four years the Miss World Philippines Org has managed to bag one Miss World crown (Megan Young in 2013), one first runner up ( Gwen Ruais in 2011) & two finalist (Quinine Rehman in 2012 & Valerie in Weigmann 2014). Philippines debuted at Miss World in the year 1966 Vivian Lee Austria represented Philippines at Miss World 1966 in London. Philippines has six continental queen crowns ( 1982, 1986,1993, 2004, 2011 & 2013).

24-year-old Hillarie Parungao hails from Solano in Nueva Vizcaya.This 5 ft 8 ” beauty works as a print model in Markiti City,she studied at the Trinity University of Asia. She represented Philippines at the Miss Asia Pacific World 2014 pageant where she was crowned as third runner up. She runs a NGO called KATUWANG: Fight Against Child Mortality. During the Miss World Philippines 2015 finale she won four sub contest and five sponsor awards.
