Miss Diva 2015: A Demographic Perspective [Analysis]
Miss Diva 2015 contestants were revealed few days ago to dismay of pageant fans. Most of the fans were dissappointed by absence of Bollywood starlet Urvashi Rautela who had left the auditions in the middle. But the dismay was short-lived because Urvashi was back in the pageant as a wild-card entry. With time, the pageants fans have warmed up to the other contestants as well. As more pictures and videos of the girls are being released by Miss Diva Organization, the fans are realising that the batch is actually good and most girls have some or the other strengths that make them special and worthy of being in the list of contestants.

Until few years ago, Miss India pageant was more widely covered in the media. The first thing the newspapers would point out was about the demographic perspective to the set of winners. Captions like “Delhi girl wins Miss India, Mumbai girl is runner-up” were not uncommon (caption is paraphrased 🙂 ). Here we tried to present an analysis of the batch with a demographic perspective. Interesting to note that not a single girl is there in the batch from East or North-East India.

Crown contenders: Urvashi (Star quality, physical beauty), Hida (Physical beauty, modelling experience)
Strong contestants: Nancy (Personable), Rashi (Height, good presence)
Other girls: Pooja (well-spoken), Aarushi (cute looks), Apoorva (good speaker)
Thus, Urvashi and Hida are the hopes of North India in Miss Diva 2015. If we have to pick one, we will go with Urvashi. She has what it takes to bring glory to India in the coming Miss Universe edition.

Crown Contenders: Hemali (Vivacious), Natasha (Attractive)
Strong Contestants: Naveli (Experience), Aishwarya (Gorgeous)
Other girls: Shivani S (Pretty), Shivani J(Well-spoken), Ankita (Prepared)
Thus, Hemali and Natasha are hopes of West India in Miss Diva 2015 pageant. Both the girls are very good, and we feel they should return to pageants in future if they don’t win this time.

Both, Simran and Aileena have past expereince in pageantry and have came in Miss Diva 2015 after a lot of improvement. Both are strong contenders.

Thus, it seems the battle for Miss Diva 2015 is mainly between beauties from North India and West India! Above are the front-runners from each region. Perhaps, the main winner of the pageant will be one of these four? Time will tell!
