Miss World Philippines 2015 Official Head shots – The Miss World Philippines Organization officially introduced the top 27 contestants of Miss World Philippines 2015 to the media and pageants fans. The Miss World Philippines organization also released a statement saying that the finale will take place on 18th October at the state of the art The Theater at Solaire. The event will be broadcasted live on GMA. Ilocos Sur will serve as the official holiday destination where the contestants will film their official swimwear segment. Governor Ryan Singson and former Governor Luis Chavit Singson alongside the province of Ilocos Sur will host the contestants from October 6th to 8th. Like the Miss World Pageant fast track events, there are going to be special fast track events similar to Miss World Pageant. The sports finals will take place on the 10th October at the Quirino grandstand. To commemorate 125th Birth anniversary of president Elpidio Quirino, “Race to greatness – Guro to Pangulo” has been organized. One of the most anticipated event is Best in Fashion runway at the charity gala on 12th October. The money raised from this event will go to PGH Medical foundation and Tuloy street Children Village foundation. In it’s four years the Miss World Philippines Org has managed to bag one Miss World crown (Megan Young 2013), one first runner up ( Gwen Ruais 2011) & 2 Semi finalist (Quinine Rehman 2012 & Valerie Weigmann 2014). Valerie Weigmann is the reigning Miss World Philippines 2014; she will crown her successor at the end of the event. Winner of Miss World Philippines 2015 will represent Philippines at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China on 19th December 2015, where Rolene Strauss will crown her successor.
