Marijana Markovic crowned as Miss Bosne i Hercegovine 2015

Marijana Markovic  was crowned as Miss Bosne i Hercegovine 2015 (Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina 2015) at the end of the national finale last night. This 20 years old beauty comes from Prnjavor. Marinaja Markovic shall now represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at  Miss World 2015 pageant in Sanya, China this December. She had to battle out 11 other contestants to win the title of Miss Bosne I Hercegovine 2015.

Bosnia and Herzegovina first participated at Miss World in 1996. Since then, only Danijela Vins in 2002 managed to make it to the semis of the pageant. This was the 20th edition of the pageant that was won by Marijana Markovic. Lejla Hodzic  was declared as first runner-up Miss BiH and Nermana Malkić was declared as second runner-up. Ana Marija Tomic was declared as the winner of Miss Televoting and Marijana Markovic was declared as the winner of Miss Internet.

Placing in Miss World 2015 will be a challenge for Marijana because this year’s edition is one of the toughest in the recent years.  Brazil is sending a bomb-shell by the name Catherine Choi who is currently said to be the front-runner for Miss World 2015 title.  Miss World America 2015 Victoria Mendoza, Femina Miss India 2015 Aditi Arya, Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie, Miss World Australia 2015 Tess Alexander, Miss Ecuador Camila Maranon, Miss France Hinarere Taputu, Miss Mexico Yamelin Ramirez, Miss Trinidad and Tobago Kimberly Farrah Singh and Miss Thailand Thunchanok Moonnilta are some of the other front-runners at the moment.
