Danielle Canute is India’s Next Top Model Winner
After an intensive 2 month long reality based television show, it was finally concluded today that Danielle Canute is the first ever India’s Next Top Model Winner. The show was sponsored by TRESemme, Lakme and Amazon and produced by Bulldog Media/Face Entertainment. The show was headed by the lead judge supermodel Lisa Haydon, Ace Photographer Dabboo Ratnani, VJ Anusha Dandekar and Image Consultant Neeraj Gaba. The show format was inspired by America’s Next Top Model by Trya banks.
The Top 3 got to walk at Lakme Fashion Week 2015. Beside, India’s Next Top Model Winner, Danielle Canute gets signed by Bling Talent Management and a one year contract with TRESemme and and appear in a spread in Grazia magazine. Danielle Canute was always a favourite of Lisa Haydon and the audience. She was also the youngest contestant on the show, however with very high potential. In her first episode of introduction, she said that she underestimates herself as she was dusky toned. Danielle has won the Best Shot titles 3 times during Runway Challenge with Pendulum, Mannequin Shot and Aerial Shot. Danielle Canute came into Bottom 2 in Episode 8 where Aditi Shetty got eliminated. Our team previously commented many times that whether Danielle wins this contest or not, but she is destined to a Supermodel in future. If a girl at the age of 18 can do such wonders, imaging her after 5 years down the line?
Rushali Rai finished as 1st runner-up and Gloria Tep was adjudged 2nd runner-up in the show. Rushali Rai previously participated in Femina Miss India 2015 where she was one of the Top 10 finalists. Rushali has won best shot twice, first in Photoshoot by Dabboo Ratnani and another in Abstract Headshots. Rushali also won the award of ‘Most Stylish’ by Amazon. Gloria Tep came from Nagaland with no experience of Modelling before. Gloria was unique and was in her own league from Day-1. She was liked by many and this girl had given consistent performance throughout the contest. Gloria won Best shot once in Episode 8 of Prop Photoshoot.
It is interesting to note that all the Top 3 girls have one Best photo shoot at least once, all 3 of them have been Bottom 2 once and all 3 comes from a non-modelling background.
