Isis Stocco Machado is Miss International Brazil 2015 [Stunner Alert]
Isis Stocco Machado has been chosen as Miss International Brazil 2015. She is 23 and finished 4th in Miss Universe Brazil 2013. She is from Maringa. She will represent Brazil at Miss International 2015, the 55th Miss International pageant, to be held on November 5, 2015 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa’s Hiten Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Valerie Hernandez of Puerto Rico will crown her successor at the end of the event in a new crown created and designed by Mikimoto.

Isis Stocco will be facing strong competition at Miss International 2015. The big favorite at the moment for Miss International 2015 title is Miss Philippines Janicel Lubina. The other strong contestants are Miss France Charlotte Pirroni, Miss Myanmar Emerald Nyein, Miss Macau Ana Choi, Miss China Liu Xinyue, Miss Singapore Roxanne Zhang, Miss UK Sophie Loudon, Miss Sweden Isabella Jedler Forsman, Miss Spain Cristina Silva Cano and Miss United States Lindsay Becker among others.
Isis Stocco will face the challenge of becoming the second Miss International winner from Brazil. The first crown was acquired by Maria da Glória Carvalho at Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 9th October, 1968 by defeating 49 beauties from different parts of the world. Brazil has an exceptional record at Miss International pageant. Apart from the crown, Brazilian beauties have acquired 1st runner-up spots for 3 times – Vera Brauner Menezes in 1961, Vionete Revoredo Fonseca in 1976 and Taiomara of Rocio Borchardt in 1981. Miss Brazil Vera Lúcia Couto was 2nd runner-up in Miss International 1964. Jane Vieira Macambira finished as the 3rd runner-up in Miss International 1972. Lisane Guimarães Távora and Sandra Rose Penno finished as 4th runner-ups in 1975 and 1965 respectively. Apart from the mentioned Top 5 placements, Brazil has cracked the semi-finals of Miss International for 19 times! Brazil has also won the Best in National Costume title thrice and Miss Photogenic title once. Last year’s Miss Brazil Deise Benicio was a Top 10 finalist.
