Jessica Josephina Hvirvelkær named Miss Denmark 2015
Jessica Josephina Hvirvelkær has been crowned as Miss Denmark 2015 at the conclusion of the national finale held 2 days back. Jessica is just 17 years old and hails from Risskov. She will now represent her count in Miss World 2015, to be held in Sanya, China. After winning, Jessica Josephina expressed her feelings saying, “It is indescribable. It’s not quite sunk in yet”. She is a successor of Pernille Sørensen, Miss Denmark 2014, who didn’t get a placement for her country at Miss World 2014.
The Miss Denmark contest is owned by Lisa Lents who represented Denmark in Miss World 2008 in South Africa. Lisa bought the rights of Miss Denmark to chose a girl for Miss World in 2015. Currently, Miss Denmark is the biggest pageant in Denmark. However, Denmark has never won the elusive crown of Miss World. Do you think Jessica Josephina has what it takes to win the first ever crown of Miss World for Denmark this year? Do you think she can get a placement for Denmark in the finale? Do let us know.
