Vivian Serrano has been crowned as Miss Bolivia World 2015 in a glittering ceremony held at the “Manzano Uno” in Santa Cruz. Vinka Nemer was the first runner-up. Daliana Acosta was the second runner-up. Selva Jimenez finished 4th. In total 12 beauties took part in the contest.
Vivian Serrano is a student of commercial engineering. She is 22 and her height is 1.73 m. She is from Santa Cruz De La Sierra. She was a Top 5 finalist in Miss Globe International pageant that took place in Turkey last year. Miss Bolivia World 2015 is the first edition of the contest and is organised by Promociones Gloria. Traditionally Miss Bolivia pageant would send representatives for Miss World. However, due to requirements from Miss World organization, new pageant has been created.
Vivian Serrano now has the brilliant opportunity to represent Bolivia at Miss World 2015 pageant that is to be held in December this year in Sanya, China. It will be quite a challenge because this year’s edition is one of the toughest in the recent years. Nearby country Brazil is sending a bomb-shell by the name Catherine Choi who is currently said to be the front-runner for Miss World 2015 title. Miss World America 2015 Victoria Mendoza, Femina Miss India 2015 Aditi Arya, Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie, Miss World Australia 2015 Tess Alexander, Miss Ecuador Camila Maranon, Miss France Hinarere Taputu, Miss Mexico Yamelin Ramirez, Miss Trinidad and Tobago Kimberly Farrah Singh and Miss Thailand Thunchanok Moonnilta are some of the other front-runners at the moment.
Vivian Serrano will have the chance to make a huge splash for Bolivia at Miss World, because by now there has been no Bolivian beauty in Miss World Top 5. There have been just 5 placements for the country by far: Brita Cederberg (1982, Top 15), Ana Maria Taboada Arnold (1983, Top 15), Carla Morón (1995, Top 10), Helen Aponte (2003, Top 20) and Andrea Forfori (2014, Top 25). Last year’s representative Andrea Forfori was a Top 10 Finalist in Beauty With A Purpose contest.
