Charlotte Pirroni has been declared as Miss International France 2015. The announcement was made by Miss France Organization on Twitter. Charlotte Pirroni was 2nd Runner-up in Miss France 2015. She was Miss Côte d’Azur 2014. She will represent France at Miss International 2015 at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, Hiten Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 5th November, 2015. The reigning winner, Miss International 2014 Valerie Hernandez of Puerto Rico, will crown her successor at the end of the event in a new crown created and designed by Mikimoto.
Charlotte Pirroni has a strong legacy to follow as Miss International France. France has been competing in Miss International since 1960. The first placement of France was by Nelly Gallerne who was Top 15 in Miss International 1968, won by Miss Brazil Maria da Glória Carvalho . Miss International France 1976 Sophie Perin won Miss International 1976. Miss International France Catherine Clarysse was 1st Runner-up in Miss International 1991, won by Miss Poland Agnieszka Kotlarska. Miss International France 1997 Marie Pauline Borg was 2nd Runner-up in Miss International 1997, won by Miss Venezuela Consuelo Adler. Miss International France 2002 Emmanuelle Jagodisinski was 1st Runner-up at Miss International 2002, won by Miss Lebanon Christina Sawaya. Last year, Miss International France 2014 Aurianne Sinacola won Best Body, but she did not place in the finals.
Charlotte Pirroni has strong competition to face at Miss International 2015. The strong contenders for Miss International 2015 title are Miss Japan Arisa akagawa, Miss Philippines Janicel Lubina, Miss United States Lindsay Becker and Miss Venezuela Edymar Martinez. The real battle as per the pageant fans is between Philippines & Venezuela. Binibining Pilipinas International 2015 Janicel Lubina was 1st Runner-up at Miss World Philippines 2013, won by Megan Young who later won Miss World 2013 in Indonesia. She was a front-runner at Binibining Pilipinas 2015. She will give her best to bring the crown back to Philippines after Bea Rose Santiago won it in 2013. Green-eyed Miss Venezuela International 2015 Edymar Martinez will try to bring the crown back to her country after Elizabeth Mosquera won it in 2010.
