Miss Old Central Webb County – Daniella Rodriguez won the crown of Miss Texas USA 2016. She will represent Texas at the Miss USA 2016 pageant next year. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Texas USA 2014 and First Runner Up at Miss USA 2015 Pageant, Ylianna Guerra. Daniella defeated 104 contestants to wear the crown of Miss Texas USA 2016. Kemah–Ligia D’Uriarte was the First Runner Up, where as Barbara Falcon- Miss Southwest Texas won Second Runner Up. Texas has the won 9 Miss USA titles. Miss USA 2008 Cyrsttle Stewart was the last Miss USA from Texas.

Daniella represented Texas at Miss Teen USA 2013 where she failed to crack the top 15. She won her state pageant in her first attempt. She is an aspiring actress and dreams of wining the Academy Award some day. She is the recipient of UIL One-Act All Star award and has featured in six mini pre thesis films at three University in Texas she has also done a full featured film. In free time she likes to write songs and play the guitar. She enjoys dancing and singing. Daniella supports the pink ribbon awareness, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and special Olympics.
